Breaker on Daytona Beach. At the jail with this story. We saw a cop car driving really fast with his lights on. Reporter it happened here at Daytona Beach near the ocean section of the beach around 1 30 this afternoon when the beach was packed with spring breakers. They are cracking down on the drinking. Reporter a beach Patrol Officer was trying to arrest 20yearold jamie gordon for an alcohol violation when he resisted and took off running. Our officer got into a scuffle with him and was unfortunately injured. The officer dislocated his shoulder. Reporter gordon was then charged with several offenses. The Patrol Officer says theyre only two and a half weeks into the spring break season and already theyve had a Record Number of alcohol arrests.
