Officials believe the remains are part of a mass grave of Hessian soldiers German troops hired by the British who were part of about 377 troops killed by Colonial forces during the Battle of Red Bank.
Researchers discovered the remains of as many as 13 German soldiers who fought for the British during the American Revolutionary War buried in an apparent mass grave in New Jersey.
