Pennsylvania State Troopers got a report of a vehicle in Lakeside Pond off Dimick to Nicholson Road in Hop Bottom shortly after 6 a.m. on September 25.
This emergency evacuation drill should not be cause for alarm- it is an annual test run in compliance of regulations issued by the NYS Education Department.
