Minnesota gets $3 82 million to support local foods

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service on Sept. 7, 2022, announced it working with Minnesota under the Local Food Purchase Assistance Cooperative Agreement Program, or LFPA. Through LFPA, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture seeks to purchase and distribute locally grown, produced, and processed food from underserved producers.
