Fresh fighting was reported on saturday with both sides claiming successes. Now cnn can t independently verify the accuracy of those reports. In the capital where ordinary afghans have been starved for cash, the largest currency exchange market reopened saturday for the first time in nearly three weeks. Even banks that are open are limiting withdrawals. And there s word the kabul airport has resumed some operations.
