(WSMV) - A Cordova High graduate with a promising college football career had his life changed in an instant. A head-on crash with a distracted driver cost him the ability to walk. “I look at the road and see this lady,” said Fletcher Cleaves. “The road curves and she doesn’t, she keeps straight. She’s looking down at a device, not paying attention. So she crosses the double yellow line and I panicked. I swerved to miss her and overcorrected.”
