Festive it ain’t.  My place on Yankee Hill, for the first time in years, has no Christmas lights indoors or out. It has no Christmas wreath. No carols ring through the house, nor do boughs of holly grace its nooks and crannies.  My home — and some may regard this as sacrilege — doesn’t even have a Christmas tree.  So I am the Grinch?
