i-95. we came across this motorist just minutes after she spun out in her car. the car started fishtailing. and once it started fishtailing, i spun around and next thing you know i m in this big old ditch. brian todd committing journalism and roadside service all at the same time. brian joins us now from laurel, maryland on the side of the i-95 corridor. brian, what are the conditions tonight? reporter: john, conditions have really deteriorated very fast tonight. i m going to give you just a look at the conditions here starting inside our vehicle pulled over in laurel, maryland just beside i-95. we have three camera capability inside this vehicle. we ve got this camera, a dashcam ra that i m going to talk into while we get set over here. and you can see the snowfall here along the i-95 corridor. this came down pretty fast and just really over about the last hour and a half it s really gotten worse here. now we pick up this camera.

the yellow car and david hugo was the driver of the lumina in the right lane. the drivers get the green light and the race starts as it is supposed to. when the cars took off down the track, everything looked so smooth. both cars lobbed side to side, no unnecessary fishtailing and no stupid moves at all at that point in time. everything looked as it was going as normal for a drag racing. a friend and competitor of both drivers for years. having raced against them several times. he has great respect for their skills. tommy haas been racing since 69. he was a true racer. if the tracks were opened and there was something going on, he was there. david hugo was a smooth driver. they had a team that would do anything for you. as far as i know, tommy adams nor david hugo has ever, ever had an accident up until that day. both drivers flawless track records are about to take a major hit with a heart stopping
