Oxford Mail readers revealed their experiences with allergies. Here’s what they said:
Sabrina Franks: Let’s not forget, all these people would have been food hygiene trained and will be very aware of allergies. People with allergies should be able to expect a level of care when telling a professional about their allergy. You wouldn’t expect such standards to slip in a restaurant – why is it acceptable in a coffee shop?
Kirsty Goodale: Why can’t parents take responsibility for their own children? urely if you had a child that could be seriously ill from drinking the wrong milk, you would taste it first or not even go out for coffee, stay safe and buy the toddler a drink with no milk in it.
