I feel for Kate – there’s only so much longer she ll be able to dress her children like dolls

The £59 dress by Rachel Riley is consistent with the traditional style in which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have always dressed their offspring. While other kids in the three-to-seven-year age bracket may zoom around in fluoro sweatpants and flippy sequin T-shirts, George and Louis wear shorts with knee socks, hand-knitted cardigans and tiny button-down shirts; Charlotte’s typical look consists of a smocked, collared floral dress; Little Princess coat and grosgrain hair bow.
