Katie Blair-Sheer started “2 nd Chapter Resale” in memory of her mother. Katie says her mother believed every story has a second chance or chapter. This July will mark four years since they first opened. All of their items are donated, so they do a lot to help people in need. They have anything from household items, décor, clothing and books. Katie says over the last two years, they gave away free winter coats, boots and gloves for people who needed them. Right now, they are sponsoring a group home out of Platteville that houses girls with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD).
