Humayun Faridee entertained audiences for years, with his brilliance on the stage, television and the silver screen. The eminent actor passed away on this day in 2012.

He won the hearts of millions with his role as Kaankata Romjan in the popular BTV show, Shongshoptok . Although he made his debut in films as the main protagonist in Dohon , he was well-known for his villainous roles.
