Work at the 16th century Old King s Head pub in Kirton is nearly finished

Refurbishment work at a historic grade II listed pub in Kirton is nearing completion.
The Old Kingâs Head, in High Street, was in danger of falling into disrepair but was saved when Heritage Lincolnshire, the buildings preservation trust for the county, purchased the building in 2016. That was thanks to fundraising and grants, including National Lottery funding.
That funding has helped the trust to carry out the extensive restoration works that have been ongoing since February 2019.
