Derek chauvin, the fired Minneapolis Police officer accused of killing george floyd. Prosecutors also charging three other former Police Officers with aiding and abetting in seconddegree murder. Radical dem Minnesota Attorney general keith ellison, who is now overseeing the floyd case, thanked americans for their, as he put it, patience as they awaited these new charges. Heres ellison announcing the charges just a few moments ago. This is going to take months, and i dont know how many, but it is better to make sure that we have a solid case, fully investigated, researched before we go to trial than to rush it.
