Police launched something called project guardian to try to combat the problem five years ago, but since then, the numbers have kept going up. Young people are in fear. Because they hear stories like this and think that they need to equip themselves with a knife. So you know, a lot of young people i mentor tell me i don t want to die. Or if in a situation that i ve got a knife, what do i do? outside the house, people come to lay flowers in tears. But there s a fear, too. There s a real danger around this area. It s not a nice area to live in any more. But for a 13 year old, it s quite sad. I ve got a 13 year old daughter, and i wo
