What Jason thought might be the worst Bumble date ever in 2018 actually led to wedding bells just over two years later. And no disasters, perceived or otherwise, were to be found on the big day. “Honestly the whole thing was perfect,” Brittany says. “Everyone was amazing, and we had the best support system.” Family and friends played a big role for the couple that day, from Brittany’s cousin helping with day-of coordination to a friend officiating the ceremony to honoring loved ones who have passed with special seat markers and corsage/boutonniere pendants. This time last year was a whirlwind. Do you guys remember? I’m sure you do because the whole world was asking themselves, “what in the hell is actually happening”. What’s crazy is that I was traveling, finishing up a leg of the HBH Super Simple cookbook tour. When I left for LA all was normal, but by the time I returned home a week later, we were in lockdown. Honestly, I hate to even bring it up because just thinking back to that time really makes me cringe. It has been the weirdest year and looking back through photos of my time spent in LA and Dallas, I miss the days of real-life interaction!!
Dartmouth Teacher Returns Art to Former Student 24 Years Later
Imagine getting a Facebook message from a teacher who had something for you that was once yours a quarter of a century ago. For Dartmouth native Aaron Houbre, that s exactly what happened.
On Wednesday, January 13, Houbre received a message from a teacher over at Quinn Elementary School who claimed she had a drawing that belonged to him. For some reason, the efforts of two teachers over the span of two different schools kept the artwork intact and in one piece. As a matter of a fact, it s been hanging on the walls of the Dartmouth school system since Houbre was in the second grade.
