How to check for 2020 KCSE results

THE STANDARD EDUCATION Candidates in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exam can check their results online. Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha said the candidates should collect their results from their respective examination centres. Individual candidate s results can be accessed by sending a candidate’s index number followed by the initials “KCSE” through a SMS to 20076. The service was available immediately after Magoha s address at Mtihani House. National Assembly to have special sitting to debate BBI

THE STANDARD POLITICS The National Assembly will hold a special sitting on Wednesday and Thursday to debate the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020 (BBI) among other matters. The decision came a few hours after the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) submitted their report on the Building Bridges Initiative Bill to both Houses. “It (the special sitting) is confirmed,” said National Assembly Majority leader, Amos Kimunya. Mr Kimunya stated that the House will finalise the Division of Revenue Act (DoRA) and other matters on Wednesday and debate the Bill on Thursday. Ministry now focusses on next step in rollout of CBC

[Edward Kiplimo, Standard] President Uhuru Kenyatta’s commitment to the implementation of the new curriculum was evident yesterday when Cabinet Secretary George Magoha lauded the progress as he released the results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary  Education (KCPE). The CS met the president before the event at the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) alongside the Principal Secretary for State Department of Early Learning and Basic Education Julius Jwan. Magoha expressed confidence on CBC progress that is now being implemented up to Grade 4. Dr Jwan was part of the technical team that midwifed the curriculum reforms.
