Publisher JanduSoft and developer Kuupu will launch retro first-person shooter (FPS)
Exodemon on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with an imminent digital release date of May 13, 2021. The game is inspired by the “golden age” of ’90s shooters, like seemingly a metric ton of indie FPS games these days, and will retail for $12.99. It previously released on PC back in 2019, where it garnered a positive reception on Steam but did not seem to garner any critical attention. (In other words, it has no Metacritic scores.)
When
Exodemon comes to Switch, you will play as a scientist “in the edge of the universe who was infected by an alien entity,” and even though it’s trying to take control of you like a Spider-Man symbiote, you can use its powers to help you blast your way to an escape pod.

Fatum Betula, surreal PS1-esque retro adventure, hits Switch on March 12
Cool and creepy and confusing
Publisher Baltoro Games and developer Bryce Bucher are bringing
Fatum Betula to Nintendo Switch tomorrow, March 12, for the refreshingly cheap launch price of $3.84 / €3.84, down from its regular retail price of $5.49 / €5.49.
Fatum Betula is an atmospheric exploration game with light puzzle elements and some bits of surreal horror, and it looks distinctly like a PlayStation 1 game in a lot of spots. As PR explains, “
Fatum Betula calls back to an era where vertices didn’t sit still and textures failed to align. The game plays in a 320×240 resolution and replicates the flaws of older hardware.”
