Local Health Department Offering Walk-In Option for COVID-19 Vaccinations at State Farm Operations Center Apr 28, 2021 at 12:24 pm by WGNS
Rutherford County, TN The Rutherford County Health Department announced today it is offering walk-in options for individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Appointments are highly encouraged but not required.
The Rutherford County Health Department will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations this Wednesday to those who drive-up without appointments Monday- Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at State Farm Operations Center 2500 Memorial Boulevard Murfreesboro, TN.
“We are excited to offer options for community members who might not be able to sign up online for an appointment.” said Rutherford County Health Director LaShan Dixon. “We hope to remove any barriers that limit residents aged 16 and older who choose to being vaccinated.”

Adults tested with the new self-tests will register and receive their results online.
Children, as well as adults unable to register online, can still receive the standard nasal swab COVID-19 tests from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Test results may be available within 72 hours of arrival at the lab, depending on the volume of tests the testing lab receives.
An information sheet detailing what participants can expect after testing will be provided on site, or you can visit tn.gov/content/dam/tn/health/documents/cedep/novel-coronavirus/TestedGuidance.pdf.
Those unable to visit the RCHD site at State Farm can be tested byother health care providers.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) â A new statewide sign-up system for vaccine appointments will be unveiled across Tennessee next week.
This comes as folks have been angry with the vaccine rollout process across the state. At the State Farm Operations Center in Murfreesboro, people with appointments showed up to get the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.
84-year-old Francis Follis said her daughter signed her up online through the local health department. I feel like anybody would be crazy to not have a shot,â Follis said, I donât want to have COVID.
