On Saturday, February 11, 2023, Stephanie Ann Savageau, a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin, passed away. She was seventy-four and mother to three loving children. She was born September 30, 1948, to Fargo business owners and community leaders George and Hazelle Nassif. She, along with brother DeLayne Nassif and surviving sister Cynthia Nassif Herr, grew up in Fargo, ND. She and her family were all very active in the local community. Stephanie graduated from Fargo North High School. She then attended and graduated from Moorhead State University with a bachelor of arts degree in social work.
Marc Leslie picked up the girl from Fargo North High School, according to court documents. Sickies said the man had no issues or complaints against him before the allegations came to light.
The Fargo Board of Education approved a plan for an unspecified individual to fundraise over $25,000 to change the color of the track planned for North High School from red to Spartan blue and gray.
