The first presentation in the workshop titled The Status of Syria’s World Heritage Sites was by Lina Kuteifan, Director of International Relations, Directorate-General of Archeology and Museums in Syria (DGAM).
The Syrian Rhapsody sheds light on significant periods in musical history. It begins with a rendition of the oldest musical notation known to mankind, the ‘Hymn to Nikkal’, which was discovered on a clay tablet from 1400 CE in Ugarit, Syria.
As part of the cultural program organized by the Syrian Arab Republic pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, it will present on February 7 at the Jubilee Theater the premiere of the epic musical work, the Syrian Rhapsody, musician Iyad al-Rimawi, in cooperation with the Syria Trust for Development and sponsored by Cham Wings Airlines.
