ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz said Wednesday that the Broadsheet matter had once again exposed the âBanarsi thugsâ.
The minister tweeted that this case was a reminder of how the national interest was traded for personal gain. âThose who ruthlessly return to the national treasury must be held accountable,â he said. Shibli maintained that in the past, if these corrupt elements had not got NRO, the country would not have suffered so much.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has constituted a three-member cabinet committee to submit its recommendations on the revelations made by the Broadsheet within 48 hours.
Information Minister Syed Shibli Faraz said this in a tweet today (Monday) .
According to the tweet, the committee will comprise Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari and Minister for Science and Technology and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Syed Shibli Faraz, who will also be convener of the committee.
Syed Shibli Faraz said action will be taken against all those, who reaped benefits in the broadsheet saga as well as their facilitators.
