But there are people there, there are people with flags, people are crying, people are coming to sing and a bit further away at Nelson Mandelas former home in soweto, where he lived when he was a young lawyer in the 1950s and early 1960s, when he went on the ground, there were people gathering there, singing songs, celebrating his life.
