Nike has suspended its sponsorship of Deshaun Watson amid the many sexual assault allegations made against the Houston Texans quarterback, the company told CNBC on Wednesday. We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and have suspended Deshaun Watson. We will continue to closely monitor the situation, Nike said in a statement.
22 women have filed lawsuits against the three-time Pro Bowler over the past month, accusing him of exposing himself, touching them with his privates or forcibly kissing them during massage appointments.
On Tuesday, Ashley Solis, the first woman to file a lawsuit against Watson, spoke publicly about her allegations against the quarterback, saying he robbed her of the feeling she was healing and helping people as a massage therapist.
Craft Burger, 21945 Katy Freeway, opened December 26. This is the first brick and mortar for Shannen Tune, who began the business as a highly successful food truck in 2015. Craft Burger then took up residence as one of the vendors at Finn Hall in December 2018, a downtown food hall that has been temporarily (we hope) closed due to the pandemic. During that time, Tune has been using a ghost kitchen at Blodgett Street Food Hall to operate multiple concepts including Thick Chick, which he debuted earlier this year. The new concept, which features spicy hot chicken sandwiches, will be on the menu at the new Craft Burger location as will Pecking Order, Tune s fried chicken brand. Tune plans to add rotisserie-style chicken and grilled chicken to the concept including jerk chicken as a nod to his wife Stacey s Jamaican upbringing. Stacey is also a professional chef.

Ryan Lachaine joins CultureMap food editor Eric Sandler to discuss his turbulent year. Despite the challenges of operating during a pandemic, he s found a number of creative ways to keep his doors open. Lachaine last appeared on the show a few days before government officials ordered a temporary shutdown of indoor dining. Since then, he s begun offering food to-go, created a ghost kitchen sandwich concept, riffed on his favorite fast food menu items, and become the executive chef of the Commons Club restaurant at the Virgin Hotel in Nashville. With all that, Sandler asks Lachaine if he s looking forward to 2021.
