The New Brunswick government has introduced new child welfare legislation that gives the Department of Social Development expanded power to intervene in cases where they believe there could be risk of harm to a child.
On Monday, several pieces of legislation passed through the Illinois General Assembly became law, as 127 pieces of legislation were signed by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
