Jamestown Police seek new leads in Juul homicide case | News, Sports, Jobs

Edwin S. Cannon MAYVILLE Edwin S. Cannon, 91, of Mayville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at his home with family at his side. He was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Edwin R. Cannon and Mildred Samson Cannon. Ed grew up in Ellington, N.Y., and graduated from Falconer Central School, class of 1947. After graduation Ed moved to Detroit and worked at General Motors. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War while stationed in the Philippines before being honorably discharged. He returned home and worked for the New York State DOT in Mayville, where he worked on the sign crew and was a snow control dispatcher.
