At least three candidates have already announced they will run for election to the magisterial district judge in Duncannon.
The candidates running for the judgeship in Magisterial District Court 41-3-03 are Harrisburg police detective Richard Gibney, state constable Clark Steele, and Codi Steigerwald, a former judge in North Carolina.
All three Republican candidates bring professional experience relevant to the office of magisterial district judge, which is the first level of Pennsylvania’s court system that involves everything from criminal matters, to traffic citations, municipal code violations, and private civil disputes under $12,000.
