increasingly they got away from that. they were about perhaps an underclass that is not participating in the economy. they re taking to take from the middle class and the upper middle class and redistribute that money to the people that aren t working. as such, mark, i think they have lost that working american. this is one of the reasons why places like pennsylvania were such a challenge for hillary clinton. what would be your advice to any democrat running right now for 2018? look, i think the advice is clear. that from indiana to pennsylvania, there s a lot of voters that felt they were left out of the economy before, that any democrat is going to run and say, you know what? those former factory towns, the former factory works, the old economy areas have to be brought into the new economy. the we fail to do that, we fail as a country to make an economy that works for all. that s a critical message to win
