Military personnel may be brought in to help thousands of people in the Bexhill and Battle area still without water six days after Storm Eunice caused chaos and destruction.
An 80-foot tree had to be felled on Saturday (February 19) after Storm Eunice when it was seen swaying dangerously over Grove Garden in Haywards Heath, as well as a public footpath and Jireh Court flats.
Residents have been queuing for bottled water in Bexhill as thousands are still without water in the Rother area after Storm Eunice hit on Friday (February 18).
