A resident from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh filed an FIR against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and 49 others for a post with derogatory messages against Samajwadi Party chief, Akhilesh Yadav.
"I think it is unlikely the company will change if [Mark Zuckerberg] remains the CEO," Haugen told a packed arena on Monday at the opening night of the Web Summit, a tech fest drawing dozens of thousands to the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
Haugen was speaking at the Web Summit tech conference in Lisbon. She said that Facebookâs parent company, which rebranded Meta, is unlikely to change if Zuckerberg remains the CEO.
The term "metaverse" seems to be everywhere. Facebook is hiring thousands of engineers in Europe to work on it, while video game companies are outlining their long-term visions for what some consider the next big thing online. The metaverse, which could spring up again when Facebook releases earnings Monday, is the latest buzzword to capture the tech industry's imagination.
