Fabiana Filippi has a new group creative director – its first, actually – and her name is Lucia De Vito. Since 1985 when brothers Giacomo and Mario Filippi Coccetta conceived the brand in Giano dell'Umbria, 30 km south of Perugia, Italy, it’s become renowned for its opulent cashmere and knitwear collections. But despite its success 38 years from its foundation, it's never named a director.
