Have you ever noticed that the longer you stare at a lotto ticket funny things start to happen? As a kid, I can remember my Uncle Ron saying If you stare at it long enough the numbers change . Well, to this day I have never won anything but scratch tickets and my record is a lowly $100 winner that I scratched on Christmas Eve one year. Not a bad day to pick a winner, eh?

Well, if you happen to have been traveling in North Texas on Wednesday the Texas Lottery says the winning ticket was purchased at an Xpress Food & Fuel station in Plano. KWTX reports that the winning numbers on the ticket are 22-33-44-45-47-54. The missing ticket matched all six numbers. With a prize of $18.75 million, the cash payment would mean a take-home of $14,259,272.66. That would be prior to any taxes.

Dead Aldi store in Howell has a new future planned
It can become an office building.
The owner of a former Aldi store at 6679 Route 9 has filed paperwork with the township Planning Board to turn it into a single-story office building.
The proposal by Eisfund 6679 LLC of Lakewood would convert the old 15,300-square-foot food store, including what was its sales area, back and break rooms, into a building with six office suites. The loading dock would be filled and turned into a terrace, according to architectural plans filed with the proposal.
The plans join other development proposals that are in the works in Howell.
