I hope the members will understand the message that were sending to communities of color in this bill and rectify some of the problems. You have a chance to reject further institutionization of any quality and injustice and recognize how painful these cuts will be to people of color and women. Im going to give you my examples and my amendment shows what im talking about. The jackson Lee Butterfield amendment, this would increase funding by 16 million for the office of job corps. This amendment is fully offset with the department of Labor Administration funds. I offered a similar amendment in committee, and while that amendment failed, i believe that this amendment before us is not subject to point of order. Its critically important. You know that many minority youths and disadvantaged youth who have benefitted significantly from job corps will be locked out of

Inside that gas station, he tells us he was watching out the window as he saw the motorcycle and the trooper came speeding between the pumps. Right hind where he is standing on highway 401 or hilltop road, he psy highspeed chase unfolding just outside the window. He says he watched as the driver of this new motorcycle and state trooper behind him came speeding through the parking lot. The Highway Patrol said it all started just after 2 00 where he trooper tried pulling over the man on the motorcycle. He was going 75 in a 45 mile per hour zone, in the glee passing other cars on a double yellow line, instead of stopping for the troopers blue lights.
