supplies are dwindling we re talking about children who are dying from medicines that are available ten kilometers away at the regular the muskies pharmacy that they can t get to because of the siege sara the u.n. has put together an evacuation list of civilians but an evacuation hasn t happened yet why is that. so they want to cite administrative and security that is but there s also the fact that the syrian government has refused to evacuate these medical cases despite the fact that there is a plan and case and this has meant that around twelve twelve people have actually died since the plan has been put in place simply because they re waiting for these people to give them permission to it s now apparent that process forces have tightened the siege since october why is that so there are a couple of reasons. the closure of the smuggling tunnels in early february to april of twenty seventeen which were which were used to to provide aid and also
direct hit. evacuations have been ordered in some places. the cnn s rosa flores is in nooim beach. what are you seeing? reporter: good morning, john. some people waking up this morning in the miami area to learn that they ve been added to the evacuation list. in miami dade, people with disabilities started evacuating yesterday. today, at 7:00 a.m., the area where i m standing in right now is under a mandatory evacuation, so is zone a, which is part of the coastal areas, including this island that s here to the south. that includes everyone in h a mobile home. that s what public officials are saying, that they need to get out. they need to get out early before the impending doom of this giant storm hits florida. now, when it comes to our friends in the south, in munroe county, according to the governor, 25,000 people have already evacuated, and more are
moving north because that s the thing about florida. you can t evacuate to the east and you can t evacuate to the west. the you ve got to go north. and according to florida highway patrol, they are seeing an increase number of vehicles heading north. the they re also seeing a lot of displaced vehicles on the side of the road. and troopers will be towing those vehicles today to make sure the flow of traffic can continue. so, john, a lot of stress in south florida as people try to figure out, will i be added to the evacuation list? what can i do to prepare? and of course, listening very closely to local officials and their directions. john? and rosa, we ll hear more of that in just moments because as you know we re waiting for the governor of florida to give us an update. we should note these teams have been in the field in houston for a week and a half doing this. going to florida, just nonstop coverage. we appreciate it. let s take a look out of live
