Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is teaming up with Amazon to develop a new docuseries. Dubbed
The Pogmentary, the series will be centered around the athlete’s life and will be entirely in his French native language.
Amazon will be working with Paris-based production studio Black Dynamite for this series. According to sources, the series will give fans a close and personal view of Pogba’s road to becoming one of the most revered footballers in the world, while allowing fans to “discover his world through previously unreleased footage from his childhood and conversations with his family, friends and teammates.”

Amazon Studios has signed an overall deal with Manchester United’s French international midfielder Paul Pogba and has greenlit a documentary series about the footballer’s life.

Titled The Pogmentary, the Amazon original series will be produced by Mediawan Group’s Black Dynamite and made available on Prime Video in France and around the world next year.
The series will give a unique and intimate look at Pogba’s life, passions and origins, opening up a side of him never seen before by fans through previously unreleased footage from his childhood and conversations with his family, friends and teammates.

Disney has announced a slate of 10 European projects commissioned for streamer Disney Plus and upcoming general entertainment brand Star.
French commissions include four-part Star original miniseries “Oussekine,” about the true events in 1986 that led to the death of a young student, created and directed by Antoine Chevrollier (“Baron Noir”) and co-written by Faïza Guène, Julien Lilti and Cédric Ido; and Star original documentary series “Soprano: Sing or Die,” which charts French recording artist Soprano and his friends’ history from their humble beginnings in Marseilles to their present-day success.
