The Chamber Players of the Redwoods will perform its first concert of the year with woodwinds, brass and recorders on Jan 28 at 2 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Arcata, 151 East 16th St.
Taylor Swift Night for Teens and Tweens Eureka Library invites teens and tweens to our Taylor Swift Night in the Large Meeting Room. This event is for teen and tween Swifties to sing, dance, and make friendship bracelets while enjoying Taylor Swift’s iconic music. Dressing up in your favorite Taylor era is encouraged. “We’ll have dino tunes in the children’s room all day, but at that time … we’ll turn it up a bit and hope to have a large inflatable friend coming to join us. We’ll probably do a variation of hokey pokey, will most likely touch our head, shoulders, knees and toes, and will certainly do a freeze dance,” Shoshanna said.
