Salvadoran authority praises Cuba s achievements in Covid-19 times
San Salvador, Apr 1 (Prensa Latina) Salvadoran Congressperson Eugenio Chicas on Thursday praised Cuba s achievements in the fight against Covid-19, despite the US economic blockade.
Chicas, member of the Central American Parliament, described as exemplary Cuba s contribution to the global cause against the pandemic, both for its fight against the health emergency at national level and for its support to other countries. Cuba, a small and poor country, in spite of the cruel US blockade, sent 57 medical brigades of the Henry Reeve Contingent, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for its selfless work, the politician pointed out.
