not we see some of the selling in the dow jones industrial average and the nasdaq, whether that spills over into the etf market because that is where regular investors have put their money recently. we have seen just an enormous amount of money go into etf and and so i ll just interrupt you. we have a thousand points. the dow has now dropped 4%. 1,000 points lower. again, i always ask to look very carefully and the s&p 500. it is broad tore look more like your market. but on a day like today, sue, with a 4% drop, they are moving in lock step. you even mentioned the nasdaq is down. stocks across the board are down in big amounts right now. exactly. they are. what is interesting to me, ali, is a lot of times you ll see money go into the u.s. dollar and we haven t seen that yet today. and i find that kind of i find that interesting. it is a little puzzling to me why we wouldn t see some safe
their buck literally and then we start to see moves out of stock and back into the bond market. now what is interesting about the hitting the 900 level is whether or not we are starting to see a little bit of selling exhaustion come into the market. it didn t feel like it this morning because we bounced back up and then down again and bounced back up. but it is starting to look as though there might be a little bit of exhauston and i don t know if you feel the same way. this is important. when you look at this chart, i want to point out to my viewers, look at the pattern through the course of the day and now in the last hour. this is not the go down and go up thing that we saw earlier. at some point, sue, people some people sell and other people buying in at that moment but now the acceleration of the selling feels like the sellers have the upper hand, there sent a buyer to catch every one of those stocks that is falling. that is absolutely true. i m also watching what is calle
