Thamsanqa Sangweni starts training with Chippa United

KickOff.com broke the news of Sangweni s imminent return to the club last month and now understands the player approached the Port Elizabeth side and asked to be taken back following the return of Dan Malesela as head coach. Sangweni has been plying his trade at Eswatini Premier League giants Mbabane Highlanders but had to cut short his stay due to inconducive conditions. The 31-year-old has now left Highlanders after only joining in November 2020 and joins Siviwe Mpengesi s side for this third spell. According to a source, Sangweni s delay in joining the club was due to the Chilli Boys being on the road as they have been playing all their home games away.
