ECIDA approves Eastman Machine tax breaks, upsized Time Release benefits Buffalo News (NY) Eastman Machine Co. won tax breaks Wednesday for its planned expansion project at its Washington Street facility, gaining a needed incentive just two days after also winning approval for the project from the city Planning Board. Eastman, located at 775-779 Washington St., plans to construct a 7,392-square-foot warehouse addition to its 130,000-square-foot facility at the corner of Washington and Goodell streets. The Dean Architects, would provide more space for loading docks, materials storage and automated assembly. Founded in 1888, Eastman makes cutting and material handling equipment for customers worldwide.

Eastman Machine Co Plans Expansion of Headquarters

February 16, 2021 Eastman Machine Co., influenced by client and product line growth, acquired a new building and plans an expansion of its headquarters in Buffalo, New York. Eastman Machine recently purchased 707 Washington Street and will now occupy the entire city block between Washington and Ellicott streets, south of Goodell Street and north of E. Tupper Street. The neighboring building is a unique space of 12,589-square-feet and, once renovated, will serve as a demonstration center for Eastman’s cutting technology and solutions. Functional exhibition space is vital for daily operation at Eastman. “This acquisition is an innate step forward for Eastman,” says Robert Stevenson, CEO. “We need the room to continue giving our customers and prospects individualized attention.”
