Well know more about the impact pap. What happened today happened quickly. Word went out the verdict was coming in and 20 minutes later all the attorneys from both sides and all the jurors were gone. We do have pictures from inside the courtroom from our courtroom artist. He says it happened quickly, the jury finding pg e guilty on five counts of violating Pipeline Safety regulations. And one count of obstructing the federal investigation of the san bruno gas explosion. You remember that 20ton explosion killed eight people and destroyed 38 homes. Pg e was exceeding federal pressure standards on the pipe that blew up and failed to inspect the pipes as required after exceeding those pressure limits. San brunos City Attorney had this reaction moments ago. We hope the judge sends pg e a pes message that its not okay to risk peoples lives by having inadequate records, manipulating the data, and misleading federal investigations.
