Kapenguria MP Samuel Moroto has said the Building Bridges Initiative is not a priority since the current Constitution is yet to be fully implemented.
Speaking in his constituency, the MP said the 2010 Constitution brought many progressive legislations such as the Equalisation Fund, which uplifted marginalised areas.
His criticism comes as a proposal in the BBI to create additional constituencies has caused a storm in the political arena.
Mr Moroto said the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission should be left to do its work in delimitation of boundaries.
