The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged graft in the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). The group urged the anti-graft agency to investigate alleged irregularities surrounding the contracts awarded by TETFund. The petition, which was addressed to Mr. Olanipekun Olukoyede, the Executive Chairman of EFCC, was signed by HEDA’s Chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju.

The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) has strongly condemned the evasion of arrest by former Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State amid corruption allegations. Bello has been accused of money laundering amounting to N80 billion, breach of public trust, and other related offences by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). HEDA also condemned the role played by the current Governor of Kogi State, Mr. Ododo, in helping Bello to evade arrest.
