Outer wall at the white house this spring. Curtis smith appears to be the same individual who jump the white house fence in march of this year. Came directly into the Justice Center, pull out 95 and attacked a Deputy Sheriff slashing him. We heard four gunshots we ran out. We came out. We looked down. I can see like blood on the floor a lady curled up in the corner. Um, sheriffs hand bloody. Reporter witnesses describe a chaotic scene as deputees rushed by sanders to shelter in place. Greenly said the alleged attacker was dressed in all black. Officials say smith died at the hospital. The injured deputy is being treated for his wounds. The da says things could have been much worse. Nobody else was injured. The sheriff doctors their jobs. The lock down went perfectly. Reporter curtis smith was scheduled for hearing in october on those charges that he jump the white house fence. No word yet on what he was doing here today.
