Energy Festival: Catapults, volcanoes and fake snow to bring joy to Perthshire after 'long period of gloom'

Updated: August 5, 2021, 10:54 am Organisers Chris and Elliot Brown. An Energy Festival with catapults, volcanoes and fake snow will bring joy to Perthshire following a year of Covid gloom. Kayaking, laser quest and even bushcraft are on the cards for the two-day event at Scone Palace next weekend. James McPake and Carlene Cura of Dundee Science Centre, Chris Brown of the Energy Festival, and Samantha O’Connor and Grant Roper from SSEN. Organised by Perth brothers Chris and Elliott Brown, the festival is expected to attract more than 5,000 people to the area on each of the days. The pair said the aim was to bring people together and boost wellbeing.

Sign Up Two Perth brothers will bring outdoor adventure to Scone Palace this summer as Scotland’s Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease. Chris and Elliott Brown will host an Energy Festival in August, allowing visitors to take part in  activities such as kayaking, laser quest and even bushcraft. The brothers hope to bring thousands of people to the area while also supporting local businesses.
