A diverse group of community leaders gathered at the Lyon County History Center Wednesday evening to continue the conversation about immigration in the Emporia community.
EADS, COLORADO — Kiowa County Coroner Jimmy Brown officially confirmed the identities of the two Emporia women discovered deceased last week in a rural area south of Eads, Colorado.
Kiowa County Sheriff Bryan Williams released a statement Friday morning announcing the discovery of two bodies in the county.According to William’s statement, the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office assisted a Kansas law enforcement agency during mid-September in a missing persons investigation.
