The public preview of Microsoft s Viva Learning is now live

In essence, Viva Learning is a centralized hub for learning within your organization. As of now, Viva Learning contains content from sources such as LinkedIn Learning and Microsoft Learn, allows you to easily share this material in chat, and also offers tools to track the completion of learning tasks, among other things.
Microsoft has noted that the public preview of Viva Learning is open to all organizations that have paid access to Microsoft Teams. It does not currently extend to Education and Government customers, but is expected to be available to them at a later date. Furthermore, requests to enter the public preview should either come from your company s IT admin or should have their express approval.

Microsoft has announced a couple of new features that are designed to help workers take breaks in the digital age, especially given the number of meetings that can fill up a workday. The company says that back-to-back meetings with no breaks are one of the main reasons for the digital overload that many workers experiences in its Work Trend Index research.
The first feature is for Outlook, and it basically makes all meetings shorter by default within an organization. Last year, Microsoft made it possible for individual users to create these rules for themselves, but now employers can set it at the organization level, making meetings shorter for everyone so they can catch a break. Rules can be set so that the break is at the start of the meeting (as in, the meeting starts late) or at the end (meaning it will end early), and employees are notified of

Global HR technology company Enboarder has closed a $6.6 million (US$5m) series A2 funding round.
The Austin, Texas-based Enboarder says it plans to use the investment to expand its offering to become an “all-encompassing employee experience platform” as well as “strengthen its existing employee onboarding offerings to accommodate remote and blended ways of working”.
The funding round was led by top-tier US VC firm Next Coast Ventures, with existing investors, GreyCroft and Stage 2 Capital, also participating.
Next Coast Ventures co-founder and managing director Tom Ball said: “Enboarder has built a unique technology solution that is upending profoundly antiquated employee processes, while also delivering dramatic efficiency improvements and delightful experiences to customers and their employees.
