The Weymouth High girls lacrosse team under their new coach Kathleen Riley, will take things one step at a time because the Wildcats will be one of the youngest teams in the Bay State Conference. Weymouth has no seniors on the team and it’s learning to play together as a unit that includes six juniors while the rest of the team is sophomores and freshmen.
This challenge was evident during the Wildcats 13-12 win at home against Brookline. Weymouth trailed for most of the game, but the players rallied with five fourth-period goals including the game-winner with 30 seconds left by Cam Flaherty.
