Thousands of Ukrainian newcomers are expected to fly to Manitoba before Canada’s temporary emergency visas expire at the end of March, the president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Manitoba Provincial Council said.
More than 300 Ukrainians who arrived in Winnipeg on Monday are now setting off on the complex if not more streamlined than usual process of settling in after fleeing their homes amid the ongoing Russian invasion.
