Senior Connections: noon at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main Street, Morgantown. All those 55 and over are invited for a meal and program. Chalk artist Cora Hurst will present a drawing with a story. She has been doing this since she was a young girl. This is a time of fellowship and enjoyment.

Free flower planting activity for children: hosted by St. Markâs Evangelical Lutheran Church, Birdsboro during the Street Fair at Main Bird Park in Birdsboro from noon until 5 p.m. All children may plant a flower in a cup which will be then wrapped in foil.

Emergency Readiness: Manor at Market Square free virtual presentation 10 a.m. via Zoom. A call-in option is available. Terrisa Faulkner from Abilities in Motion will share emergency readiness tips so you can be prepared for anything from a major disaster to everyday life, including instructions on how to build your “home” and “go” kits. Drive-Thru Shred-It Day: 9 to 11 a.m., Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. Bring up to five boxes or bags full of confidential documents (financial records, legal papers, etc.) to be securely shredded. Team members will remove the boxes and bags from your vehicle. Face masks required on campus. Suggested donation is $5 per box or bag.
